Four Seminarians Ordained to Diaconate

Four seminarians in the priestly formation program at Saint Francis de Sales Seminary were ordained to the Transitional Diaconate Saturday, April 24.

Congratulations Javier Guativa, Christopher Klusman, Hugo Londono and Kevin McManaman!

Archbishop Jerome Listecki celebrated the Mass of Ordination. Bishop Richard Sklba and Fr. Don Hying, Seminary rector, were among the many priests concelebrating the Mass. Family, friends, Seminary faculty and staff, and members of the deaf and Hispanic communities filled the pews of St. Matthias Parish in Milwaukee.

At the close of the Mass, Archbishop Listecki reminded the new deacons that he would see them again for another momentous occasion in one year: Javier, Christopher, Hugo and Kevin will be ordained to the priesthood in the spring of 2011.
