The Call

The priesthood is less about what a priest does and more about who he is. The priest is an alter Christus, another Christ.  Through the Sacrament of Holy Orders, he is intimately configured to Jesus Christ.  The priest gives everything he would normally call his own – his hands, his mind, his voice, his talents, even the very breath of life to Christ and to His Church.
